For a vomit incident, cleaning and odour-source removal are the relevant services. The affected seat, carpet or trim should be inspected and cleaned according to the material and how deeply the residue has penetrated.
MIRAKN® is a Sumitomo Chemical pest-control product for insect control. It is not a disinfectant, sanitiser, steriliser, antibacterial treatment or antiviral treatment. Cleanic does not describe MIRAKN® as a method for disinfecting vomit contamination. MIRAKN® would only be relevant when there is a separate pest-control reason.
What to do immediately
- Remove solid residue carefully without pushing it deeper into fabric or carpet.
- Blot liquid with clean absorbent material; avoid aggressive rubbing.
- Do not cover the smell with perfume before the source is cleaned.
- Tell Cleanic exactly which area is affected and whether the liquid reached seat foam, carpet underlay or child-seat areas.
How the cleaning decision is made
What about steam cleaning?
Steam cleaning may be suitable for some interior materials and cleaning situations, but the method should match the affected surface. The purpose is physical cleaning and residue removal. It should not be confused with MIRAKN® pest treatment.
Does MIRAKN® disinfect the cabin?
No. Sumitomo Chemical describes MIRAKN® as a professional insect pest-control formulation. Its stated role is control of target insects such as cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, mites and stored-product pests, depending on the specific product label. It should not be presented as killing bacteria or viruses or sanitising a vehicle.
When should you contact Cleanic?
Contact Cleanic when vomit has reached fabric seats, carpet, foam, seams or areas that are difficult to clean properly at home, or when the odour keeps returning after surface wiping.
Send the car model + affected area
Photos help. Cleanic can advise whether the case looks like a surface clean or a deeper interior-cleaning job.
MIRAKN® product use must follow the applicable product label directions and precautions.
